Regional Business Development Consultant - North America

EHS Data is a fast growing and dynamic IT company, developing and selling the MonitorPro software solution. MonitorPro is a world-leading Environmental Data Management solution, used in more than 40 countries in the world. We are currently expanding strongly in North America, where we already have large client bases in the mining industry. We are now searching for a business developer for North America. The ideal candidate is highly driven and self-motivated as you will need to work individually and report to Head of Sales and Marketing at HQ in the UK. Working as a business development consultant from your home office, you will have access to local technical support from Calgary with the occasional travel.

The Role

  • Responsible for Sales Growth for North America.
  • Develop and nurture sales pipeline using Salesforce CRM system.
  • Identify leads, areas for expansion and regular contact with current prospects.
  • Present to senior decision maker and negotiate end of contract.
  • Work closely with marketing to develop prospecting tools and bespoke campaigns.
  • Regular online meetings with Head of Sales.
  • Possible travel required across North America for meetings and conferences.
     

The Candidate

  • A highly driven individual who is motivated developing business opportunities.
  • A successful track record of selling software solutions.
  • An environmental interest or background.
  • You have a strong business acumen, but also a fairly good technical understanding.
  • Experience in maximising networking opportunities within one or more of our key markets.

An exciting B2B lead generation opportunity has arisen to join an established and friendly business in the Nottinghamshire area.

Our main markets are high environmental liability industries and environmental authorities.

 

The Role:

  • Responsible for global market research.
  • Identifying new leads based on our market strategy through cold calling.
  • Establishing customer`s needs through effective questioning using the telephone.
  • Creating a network/pipeline of leads using Salesforce CRM system.
  • Must be able to work well within a team and work independently.
  • Be able to converse at all levels.
  • UK based at EHS Data Head office in Newark, Nottinghamshire.
     

The Candidate:

Reporting to the Head of Sales and Marketing, you are an open and positive individual who is willing to work hard and grow with this new role within the company. You are confident and not afraid of making new contacts and cold calling. You have the drive and aspiration to advance in the role and to learn about our company, our products, and our marketing strategy. You will need to be a self-managed individual who can manage your own day to day tasks and must be a quick learner. Proactive and confident, professional and articulate you may be required to travel. Ideally educated to a degree level from an environmental background. A full clean driving license is required.
