EHS Data: Carbon Negative Pledge Update 2024-2025
EHS Data achieved carbon negative status in 2020 following several years of being carbon neutral, since then we have successfully maintained this status each year.
Why Being a Carbon Negative Business is Important
Pressure is being placed upon our planet and its resources through human activity and this pressure will only continue to increase with time, as a result we believe there is a responsibility for organisations that produce carbon to actively try and offset their impact by working towards not just a carbon negative strategy but a carbon negative future.
Our Carbon Negative Strategy
We implement a number of different measures at EHS Data to ensure we meet our carbon negative pledge including:
- Making practical decisions about travel and offsetting when flying.
- Funding tree planting via donations to the Woodland Trust with £100 donated for each completed client survey.
- Our electricity supply is from renewable sources and we have solar panels installed at our head office.

- We have been a paper free office for over 11 years.
Have We Met Our Pledge For 2024-2025?
For the year 2024-2025, we had a carbon deficit of 32tC02e, which we offset by >60tC02e through donations and pledges to carbon schemes, meaning we have again achieved our carbon negative pledge for 2024-2025.
