With a small environmental team, Americas Gold and Silver needed an environmental system that could streamline and simplify their environmental data requirements, which include:

Permits involved nuanced rules around average measurements below detection limits (MDL) and minimum levels (ML). MonitorPro was configured with a predefined calculation to automatically apply these rules, ensuring consistent and audit-ready reporting without manual interpretation.

MP-Field provides the environmental team with an easy way to collect data in the field using a mobile device, removing the need of time-consuming manual data entry afterwards.  Sampling locations and what required measurements are clearly identified in a site visit, with progress tracking that also tracks completion percentage and highlights any missed locations.

By ensuring the correct data is collected at the right locations the risk of missing data is reduced. This eliminates the need for repeat follow up visits allowing the team to focus on other tasks.

Inspections are required as part of their permits, including Inspection Logs and Visual Assessments which were previously manually recorded using pen and paper. These are now entered via MP-Field, using MP-Field’s wide range of input options, including dropdown menus, radio buttons, and text fields

In addition, MP-Field also ensures any numerical data is validated using control measures and warnings when values fall out of expected ranges, further improving data accuracy and reliability.

MonitorPro ensures that all data entered into the database is validated and consistent.  This consistency in data input in turn ensures consistency with the data outputs. Reports and Exports requiring little to no additional processing once exported, requiring little to no additional processing once exported.

The environmental teams can track the obligation status of their site permits easily using MonitorPro’s Obligations Dashboard Widget.  This makes it clear for the users to see the site’s performance against permit conditions.
