Celebrating 20 Years of EHS Data
Back in November 2005, EHS Data was officially registered, taking over the development and support of MonitorPro. Back then, MonitorPro-5 (or MP-5) was a Desktop application before web-based applications were common place. MonitorPro-5 continues to progress to this day, now renamed MP-Desktop, and later joined by MP-Web and MP-Field to offer clients a range of tools to assist environmental professionals in managing their data and reporting.
Over the years, clients from all over the world were added to EHS Data’s portfolio, which already included the UK and Australia, expanding to Latin America and the US in 2007, Canada and Europe in 2009, and Africa and Asia in 2011. EHS Data now has over 200 clients ranging from consultants to global mining conglomerates, over 12,000 unique logins per month, and has completed implementations at over 1,000 sites. Many of those clients that joined us in the 2000’s are still with us today and have often grown from single-site deployments to full corporate implementations, as subsequent sites saw the value MonitorPro was delivering. We’ve also had clients who have moved operations multiple times during the past 20 years, taking MonitorPro with them to their new roles.
At EHS Data, we have always taken the environment and our own sustainability very seriously. As a result, EHS Data successfully achieved carbon-negative status in 2020, after several years of being carbon neutral. Each year, EHS Data has pledged to meet this carbon-negative goal and has done so successfully since.
